When is Kick off? 6:15pm - 8:15pm WEEKLY

What do I need to bring? Clothes to exercise in, laptop, notebook, pens, a towel, water bottle and a willingness to learn!

WEEK

01

TECHNICAL COACHING

Week 1 consists of learning how to que, demonstrate and perfect the big lifts. The art of coaching lies within your flawless efforts to communicate effectively to the athlete in front of you. Poor communication can lead to a breakdown in technique, confusion and a lost of trust between the athlete and coach

02

PROGRAMMING

In week 2, you will learn how to perfect your programming for the person in front of you. Anyone can find a cereal box program out there on the web. However its your ability to assess the athlete in front of you, their sport and work-life balance and create an unbelievably tailored program.

03

CONDITIONING PROGRAMS

FOR ATHLETES

Week 3 consists of learning how to write, plan and deliver conditioning programs for team athletes. A strength and conditioning coach needs to know how to program both in the gym and on the track. You will learn how to manage running loads, decrease an athletes risk of injury and monitor their training to make them physically elite

TEAM STRENGTH COACHING

The Logistics of team Resistance sessions. Theres more to writing a program and getting 20 athletes to run it. Logistically, how do you get 20 athletes in a gym, all doing the same thing? You typically can't. In week 4 we will discuss how to get the absolute most of your 60 minutes with a group of athletes.

EAA ACCREDITATION

Resistance Sports Science is proud to host the grading department of the Exercise Association of Australia. All students and coaches who participate in this 5 week development program will have their chance at becoming accredited with Australia's newest accrediting body. EAA coaches are renowned as the best in Australia and we are excited to promote this RSS program as an EAA accredited course for students and coaches alike.
