Resistance Sports Science Brisbane's premier Athlete Hub has teamed up with Vald Performance & Normatec Recovery to bring you a 6 week AFL conditioning pre-season camp like never before seen.

YOU WILL BE TESTED & IMPROVE THE FOLLOWING:

Tackling Workshop

What will you learn:

How to Defend a Stiff Arm 
Grapple and hold an opponent, 
Pin one arm for holding the ball calls 
Technique for Chase down tackles. 
 

Kicking Workshop

What will you learn: 

Goal Kicking set Shot 

Goal Kicking on the Run 

How to hit pinpoint leading Targets

Wanting to make the AFL? For most young footballers, you only have one shot to make it so why not put your best foot forward and give it your best shot?

 

Resistance Sports Science is proud to announce our One Shot AFL Specific Football camp is designed to give young athletes the perfect opportunity to learn how to physically prepare as an AFL Footballer.

 

We will give you the ins and outs of how to train, eat and recover like the professionals.

 

You will be assessed from former Brisbane Lions High Performance Physiotherapist Chris Mallac and RSS Performance Manager Daniel Robson-Petch.

Monday 4:30 & 5:30 Strength 
Wednesday 5:30pm Conditioning 
Saturday Strength 7:30am & 8:30am

CONDITIONING WEEKLY PLAN

STRENGTH TRAINING

Will be split into 2x 3 week strength blocks. 
First block: = Learning to lift & building muscle 
Second Block = Building Muscle and Increasing AFL Strength.

Week 1: TESTING
Week 2: Max Aerobic Speed 
Week 3: Max Aerobic Speed 
Week 4: Speed 
Week 5: Speed
