Resistance Sports Science is equipped with an extensive Rehab & Recovery team built and formulated to maximise our athlete's efforts and recovery times. Our Physiotherapists provide APA recognised Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy services that will exceed your expectations. Our in-house expert soft tissue therapist works with our dynamic team of practitioners to provide total care.

Dry needling involves the use of fine filament needles for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. It aims to address pain and dysfunction in the soft tissue by providing pain relief and restoring function.
Common injuries treated through this procedure include low back pain, neck pain, whiplash, shoulder pain, elbow pain, knee pain and ankle sprains.
Our physiotherapists have undergone extra training after completing their University degrees to become proficient at dry needling.
Our remedial massage therapists utilise techniques that manipulate muscle tissue, helping boost your recovery and rehabilitation after surgery or other injuries.

OUR REHAB TEAM
Kevin is an accredited physiotherapist that specialises in return to sports injury rehabilitation. Kevin has 6 years of experience working with team sport athletes in the SANFL, and the National Premier League.
Kevin has a wealth of experience in chronic and acute injuries and is available to be booked on Mondays from 2-6 pm plus separate times on request!
Krista specialises in remedial massage for chronic and overactive muscle tissue. Krista takes a holistic approach to athletic recovery through sports massage and other techniques.
Chris is an accredited and internationally renowned sports physiotherapist that specialises in athlete return to sports injury rehabilitation. Chris has worked with some of Australias best sporting organizations including the Brisbane Lions, Queensland Reds and Roar.
When Chris is not treating, he is teaching practitioners the tricks of the trade. Chris is available every 3 weeks. Look out for spots in his schedule!
Megan Hunter is our incredible Sports Physiotherapist. Megan is hands on, amongst the action and willing to get her elbows dirty. Megan has a masters in physiotherapy and has worked as the head Physio for the Western Magpies and North Brisbane Cougars.
